Hitch it lightweight and durable, took a Talaria from Colorado to Vegas and back with no issues at all. Didn't even have to tighten the peg locks, highly recommend. 1400 miles and it was locked in.

The carrier is compact and sturdy. The only suggestion is maybe put a rubber lining on top of the carrier this way it won't scratch both the carrier and bike and would also act as a cushion in between.
